Kinguin discount codes: the current code and how to actually save with it

Kinguin issues a new discount code most months. This page tracks the current one, its real terms — the ones buried in the fine print — and, more usefully, when a coupon is worth using and when it just distracts you from a better price elsewhere.

What it’s actually worth

Let’s do the arithmetic nobody puts in these articles:

  • 5% of the €150 cap = €7.50 maximum per redemption
  • Two redemptions = €15 maximum, ever, across the whole month

That’s the honest ceiling. It’s real money, but it’s a top-up, not a deal in itself — which leads to the part that matters more.

The check to run before using any coupon

A 5% coupon on the wrong store loses to no coupon on the right one.

Kinguin is frequently among the cheapest options, but not always — on any given game, Eneba, Instant Gaming, Yuplay or a Fanatical bundle may be 15-30% below it. A 5% code doesn’t close that gap.

So the order is:

  1. Compare the game across stores firstone search does it here
  2. If Kinguin wins or is within ~5%, apply the code and it wins outright
  3. If another store is well below, buy there and ignore the coupon

That sequence is the whole method. Coupons are the last 5%, not the first decision.

How to squeeze the most out of it

Given the €150 cap and two-use limit, the code rewards planning:

  • Fill the cart, don’t dribble. Two separate €20 purchases waste most of the allowance; one €150 cart uses it fully.
  • Time it with the games you already wanted. A discount on something you weren’t going to buy isn’t a saving.
  • Check the seller rating and the region lock on each key before checkout — the coupon doesn’t protect you from those, and they’re the actual causes of problems. Our Kinguin review covers what to look for.

Is Kinguin safe to buy from?

Short version: yes, with the marketplace caveats — it’s a platform where third-party sellers list keys, so seller rating and region matter. The long version, including how it compares to direct-stock retailers, is in our honest Kinguin review and the 7 rules for buying keys safely.

Expired codes are removed from this page as new ones replace them. If you landed here after August 2026, check the table above for the current one — and in the meantime, the comparison below works every day of the year, coupon or not.
